ATMOSPHERES

An analysis of atmospheric qualities, such as sound and light that affect the human body, specifically through materiality and utilizing audio and wave distortion to create physical zones with non-physical boundaries. Participants explore the landscape through ridged hills, carved pathways, and large craters that transform the terrain.  

 

Process: user research of how sound affects human body, explored geographic variations of the unbuilt environment, 3D modeling of terrain, iterations of concrete casting and fabrication.
